Daisy Mae is a sweet ole senior girl who loves everyone! She is your typical Lab who wants to be with her human, loves her belly rubbed and just likes to hang out. She does have some lumps as do all seniors but they do not stand in her way of playing or doing anything she wants to. She is a little overweight and we are working on getting those pounds off. Good with other dogs, probably ok with cats and unknown with kids but because of her age only families with older kids will be considered.

Hello hairless peeps, My name is Daisy Mae. You are wondering why a good looking girl like me is here looking for a home. Well I will tell you my short story. I am a 12 year old chocolate puppy and I found myself in a shelter due to my previous family can no longer take care of me. How dare they. Well that's in the past now and I guess my new foster mommy went crazy when she saw me in a Facebook group and she pleaded for help. Thank goodness for that. That’s when this rescue stood up and said we will help. Carrie and Debbie are awesome. I got to meet both of them when I had to go to the vet and also when they came to my foster home. They made sure I was seen at a vet right away and taken care of. I had a open cyst on my side and two skin tags that were treated. I got two nasty shots one for a chip the other for rabies, whatever that is, that hurt but my foster mommy made it feel better. I still have a  lump on my right shoulder that only hurts a little on long walks but my doctor say it’s probably just a fatty tumor and to leave it alone. I love tummy rubs and play fetch, so if you see something in my mouth it’s because I want to play, I don’t chew on things and I know that outside is my place to go potty. I am pretty laid back most of the time and I just like being where my hairless peeps are, sleeping by their feet. I get along excellent with other furry peeps (not sure about cats because my foster mommy has allergies to them) and when they get too riled up I will try to tell them to calm down. I also like to talk to get your attention. Oh, I don’t want to forget but my foster mommy said I love to give lab approved doggy baths. Haha. I really love it here but my foster mommy needs to help other furry peeps like me. So, I need to find my FurRver family so she can help others in need. Please consider adopting me into your home.
