Lucky came to us in a litter of puppies in 2017. Fostered and then adopted 3 years ago to a family we thought was wonderful. Fast forward 3 years and we get a call from an out of state shelter that they found Lucky on the street (thanks to our microchip), he sat in the shelter 6 days waiting for his humans and they never came. We decided he needed to come back to us and with some human angels helping we transported him back to us.

• Lucky is fun, happy, shy, prefers a drama free zone, and enjoys watching crime shows.
• He’d prefer to keep walks super short and could use a little yard or patio for sunbathing and zipping around.
• Lucky is crate trained and loves spending time alone snoozing upside down. He prefers crate time versus whole house access when his person isn’t able to be 100% present.
• He’s very protective of kiddos, so, no kids, it’s too much pressure on him.
• He’s been ok with cats and small pets in cages, he would probably like an adult or senior female dog as a companion but would be great as an only dog, too.
• He loves to jump, run, play, eat, and sleep. He’d do great at Fast CATs and CATs and agility. Oh! And he loves car rides to nowhere. Literally, he’s a journey guy, not a destination guy.
• Lucky needs regular grooming at home or by a mobile groomer and gets haircuts every few months.
• He cannot handle correction based training at all. This boy needs a gentle and calm person who will provide necessary boundaries while treating him with kindness. Humane training methods only!
